Exchange
Exchange (/dxp/engage/exchange) surfaces transactional or hand-off information between your organisation and customers: orders, bookings, quotes, or other record types your operator enabled.
Using Exchange day-to-day
- Filter by date, state, or Space (if multi-site).
- Drill into a record to reconcile with payments or fulfilment systems where integrations exist.
Relationship to commerce
When Products and payments are enabled, Exchange is often the fastest way for staff to answer “did this order go through?” without opening the raw payments provider.
Sale amounts on the public site come from the product catalogue (default price and scheduled sale windows), not from Exchange. Use Products and Space settings → Regional to configure promotions; use Exchange to reconcile orders after checkout.
While an order is awaiting payment, inventory may show as reserved on the product (checkout hold) until the shopper pays, cancels, or the hold expires — see Checkout inventory holds.
